Chicle, a sustainably harvested tree sap, is the base of our gum. Unlike other gums out there, we will never use plastic as a base.

Adds a touch of sweetness.
Organic Vegetable Glycerin
Helps us achieve the perfect amount of moisture in each chew.
Organic Rice Flour
Keeps our gum from getting too sticky.
All Natural Flavor
A proprietary blend of steam distilled essential oils and extracts derived from plants give our gum incredible natural flavor.

Here are some things you can expect from us:
Conventional gums list “Gum Base” as an ingredient- that’s code for plastic. Instead of plastic, we use chicle, a sustainable tree sap that we source from Central America.
Here is some of the synthetic stuff that is in conventional gum: polyisobutylene, polyvinyl acetate, and butylated hydroxytoluene. You won't find any of these substances - or any other synthetics - in our gum.
Our gum and mints are Non-GMO verified by the Non-GMO project.
Tree sap is biodegradable. Plastic is not.
No Artificial Sweeteners
You won’t find any fake stuff, such as aspartame, in our gum
or mints. Just organic sugar cane.
Our gum and mints are certified vegan by Vegan.org
Our gum and mints are Kosher certified.
Made in the USA
Our gum is made in the USA, proudly manufactured in our Brooklyn, NY facility.
Our founder, Caron, started Simply gum in 2014 after she discovered that regular chewing gum was made of a plastic base and filled with artificial ingredients. She started making batches of gum in her New York City apartment and sold the first Simply Gum products in local stores throughout Manhattan. Our breath mints followed a few years later.
We no longer make our gum in an apartment kitchen, but our commitment to natural ingredients, delicious taste, and beautiful packaging remains. Each of our packs is crafted with love and care at our factory in Brooklyn, where our gum chefs make the highest quality gum available.
